The Good
I finally sat on the Canopy Flyer again - twice! The queues were usually upwards of 60min on Saturday afternoons... Good news is they seemed to have gotten much faster at getting the guests on board the ride. A queue that used to take more than 30min now takes half as long. And if you don't mind sitting on the back seats, there's a chance you might get to jump the queue as well! Well, the back seats are usually slightly more thrilling as you move backwards through the ride and don't get to see where the turns and dips are ^o^;
The Bad
Its a bit worrying that only 4 months past its opening and some parts of the park show need of maintenance. I had the luck to sit in the only seat on the Enchanted Airways with a loose restraint bar. I was wondering if I'd do a Shrek 4D and drop out of my red dragon. Anyways, since I'm here typing nothing untoward had happened. Still, I hoped they'd get that problem fixed. Also, they should have rolled out the standby car I saw tucked in the side garage.
The Good
I had the chance to view Voyage de la Vie once again! I wished they'd release the soundtrack of the show - the numbers Jonathan belted out were quite good, especially the second and third songs. I didn't feel as engaged for the first because he'd missed some of the notes - can't be helped I guess, as he was running around the stage.
The Bad
Somehow, during the crossbow act, they managed to get the timing wrong by showing the movie of the crossbow hitting the apple before the actual event happened. Previously I had thought that was a live replay. Now I know better - its a pre-recorded clip.
The Good
Somehow they had juiced up the Jurassic Park ride. There's just so much more water splashing into the boat during the water course itself. And somehow the final plunge managed to create an even bigger wave than before. I would have been thoroughly drenched the few times I took the ride - except that I had a raincoat on. Still, my head, arms and feet were complete wet - the water simply slapped away my hood as if it weren't there. Be forewarned - nobody's going to stay dry on this ride.
